This handmade sgraffito mug is wheel thrown from white stoneware clay and finished with matte glazes on the exterior. Yellow flowers are carefully hand-carved into the surface, revealing the clay body beneath. The interior is glazed with a food-safe teal blue glaze for a bright, joyful contrast.

Sgraffito is a surface design technique where underglaze is applied during the greenware stage and then scratched away to reveal the clay underneath. The result is a textured, floral mug that radiates warmth and happiness with every sip.
